The conductor then sings out the command for the second rendition of Xian He ("Perfect Harmony"), a musician sounds the wooden clappers three times, and the music begins. The second rendition is played without the Jin drum or the Yong bell, and the time is kept by the wooden clappers and the Bo Fu drum.
After the music commences, deacons move the sacrificial utensils, i.e. the bamboo baskets and wooden serving bowls to symbolize the removal of these objects.
